IMOKENT Media Relations is operated by Joe Montague and is the unofficial sister company to Riveting Riffs Ltd. We coordinate and facilitate media relations and marketing for those in the entertainment industry. Our primary clients are those within the recording industry although where our expertise lies, however, we will consider other clients. 

The only service we offer to authors at the moment is the preparation of bios, and in some cases, press releases, but not distribution of press releases.

To all other clients we offer the following services;

• Preparation of and electronic (email) distribution of press  releases              

• Preparation of bios

• Facilitate media interviews and autograph sessions

• Web content--please note we do not do web design we only wordsmith

• Act as a liaison between the media and the artist and/or the label

• Provide support materials to media for CD review purposes

• We offer training in interviewing techniques for the interviewee

We will not take you onboard if you are a client of an individual publicist or publicity firm, or if your publicity has been handled by a label with whom we currently have a standing relationship with. We value the relationships IMOKENT and Riveting Riffs have with labels, publicists and publicity firms and are not here to compete with them. We welcome new clients who are not represented.

Financial Arrangements

A 1/2 hour non-billable consultation, either on the telephone or in person, will be provided to determine the client's needs, and to ascertain whether or not IMOKENT Media Relations is prepared to take them on as a client.  Following that meeting, a written quotation will be prepared and provided to the client. Before any work commences a minimum fifty percent (50 %) retainer is required. Separate retainers will apply to each project undertaken on behalf of the client.
